The statement came in response to Donald Trump's accusations that China was seeking to meddle in the upcoming Nov. 4 congressional election in the United States. According to him, Beijing was aiming to confront his administration's pugnacious stance on trade.
China doesn't meddle in other countries' internal affairs, the country's foreign ministry said at a regular briefing in Beijing on Wednesday, addressing Donald Trump's recent allegations that Beijing was seeking to interfere in the US midterm election.
